Job Role: Sous Chef
Duration: Full Time Permanent
Salary: £13 to £16 per hour
Hours: 45 hours per week (2days off together, 3 days off together every three weeks)
A new opportunity has arisen for a Sous Chef to work within the kitchen team, reporting directly to the talented Head Chef.
As the Sous Chef your responsibilities will include:
Preparing/Cooking fresh, local food and Seafood
Assist the Head Chef in Menu Planning
Assist the Head Chef with tasks within the kitchen
Assist the head chef in keeping COSHH records and kitchen paperwork up to date
Ensure the kitchen & equipment is kept to the highest standard.
The successful Sous Chef will:
Have a passion & enthusiasm for Food
Be prepared to work hard within the kitchen team to deliver their best.
Be able to thrive in a fast dynamic environment
The Sous Chef Skills & Experience required
Cooking to a high standard
Chef experience in cooking seafood specials is preferable but not essential
Proven team player
Ideally have at least NVQ level 2 and a Food Hygiene certificate
Pay for the Sous Chef
45 hours per week
£13.00 to £16.00 per hour depending on skills and experience
