About the Role
Production Operative South Molton, Devon | Full-time · Permanent | £12.50 – £15.00 per hour DOE | Early finish Fridays
A respected local manufacturer in South Molton is looking for someone who takes pride in doing things right. This is a role where attention to detail, consistency and being a reliable part of a close team genuinely matters — and is recognised.
Working hours
Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm Friday: 8:00am – 1:00pm (early finish!)
The role
You'll be a valued part of the production team, working alongside press operators to keep quality high and the operation running smoothly. Every product that leaves this site reflects the care the team puts in, and your eye for detail will be central to that.
Full training is provided, including for quality audits and inspections, so you'll be well supported from day one.
Day to day, you'll be
- Monitoring and maintaining product quality throughout the line
- Supporting press operators to keep production on track
- Carrying out quality checks, audits and inspections
- Producing consistent, quality products within agreed timescales
- Helping move materials and finished goods around the facility
- Contributing to a team that looks out for each other
What we're looking for
- Some experience in a production or manufacturing setting
- A careful, detail-focused approach to your work
- Someone who is dependable and takes quality seriously
- A good communicator who enjoys being part of a team
What's on offer
- £12.50 – £15.00 per hour, dependent on experience
- Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Early finish every Friday at 1:00pm
- Local role based in South Molton
