Job Role: Claims Handler
Hourly Pay: £10.00 to £19.00 per hour
Hours: Various Shifts as below up to 37.5 + hours per week
Quartz Recruitment is working with their client to provide them with a member of staff to join their team in the role within customer services for the position of Claims Handler.
The role of Claims Handler will be on an ongoing temporary basis and we invite candidates who want long-term work as the position is likely to become permanent.
Claims Handler Job Description:
We are looking for a Claims Handler to take day-to-day compensation claims. You will be answering inbound and making outbound calls related to personal injury claims. Your role will demand excellent written and spoken communication skills. You should be a good listener, with an understanding and empathetic demeanour. You will be expected to have good attention to detail as the role will require methodical data entry when updating records from reports.
Excellent telephone manner
Clear spoken English
Good written English skills
Excellent numerical skills
Good attention to detail
Good typing speed
A background in customer services will be viewed as a strong plus for any candidate
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Answering inbound calls
Making outbound calls
Data entry (Updating records from reports and emails)
The office hours are below, and we are looking for someone to be flexible within those times:-
Monday - Fridays - 08.00 - 19.00 (we are open later but those hours are currently being covered)
Saturdays - 09.00 - 16.30 (Cover is not needed every Saturday, we are open later but those hours are currently being covered)
We are also open on a Sunday, but those hours are currently being covered.
Shifts can vary in the week from 08.00 - 16.00 & 08.00 - 14.00 & 09.00 - 15.00 & 11.00 - 19.00 & 10.00 - 19.00
Shifts are changeable depending on the business needs.
