Claims Handler
on-going contract, Temporary- Long term
£9.16 per hour and after 6pm or on a Saturday it is £13.16 per hour
Average of 39-40 hours per week

Quartz Recruitment are working with their client to provide them with a member of staff to join their team in the role within customer services for the position of Claims Handler.

The role of Claims Handler will be on an on-going temporary basis and we invite candidates who want long term work as the position is likely to become permanent.

Claims Handler Job Description:
We are looking for a Claims Handler to take day to day compensation claims. You will be answering inbound and making outbound calls related to personal injury claims. Your role will demand excellent written and spoken communication skills. You should be a good listener, with an understanding and empathetic demeanor. You will be expected to have good attention to detail as the role will require methodical data entry when updating records from reports.

Computer literate
Good typing speed
Excel Knowledge

A background in customer services will be viewed as a strong plus for any candidate

Answering inbound calls
Making outbound calls
Data entry (Updating records from reports and emails)
Administration tasks


Monday to Friday 09.00 to 17.30 and 1 in 3 Saturdays will be a shift from 09.00 - 18.30.

These hours are due to covid 19 and they intend to go back to the normal/standard hours on a rolling 4 week rota, but this is business dependent and may not be till the new year, but flexibility is essential:-

08.30 – 15.00

08.30 - 17.30

12.00 - 20.00

Pay Rate:
£9.16 per hour and after 6pm or on a Saturday it is £13.16 per hour
Average of 40 hours per week
