About the Role
Production Operative
South Molton | Full-Time | £12.50 – £15.00 per hour (DOE)
Quartz Recruitment is working with a successful and well-established local manufacturing company in South Molton, known for being supportive, well organised, and proud of the team culture they’ve built.
They are now seeking an experienced Production Operative to join their busy and growing operation.
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am – 1:00pm (early finish!)
The Role
This is a hands-on production role supporting press operators and ensuring products meet quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting press operators with the use of production equipment
- Monitoring product quality throughout the production process
- Producing quality products within agreed timescales
- Working with others in the operation of production procedures and machinery
- Moving raw materials and finished products within the factory
- Undertaking production quality audits, checks, and inspections after training
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Have previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Be comfortable working with machinery and production equipment
- Have strong communication skills and work well as part of a team
- Be reliable, detail-focused, and committed to quality
- Want to be part of a successful and supportive team
Pay
- £12.50 – £15.00 per hour, dependent on skills and experience
