About the Role
As General Manager, you'll oversee daily operations, financial strategy, guest satisfaction, food & beverage performance, and sales. Your focus will be on maintaining high standards, boosting revenue, and building a positive, productive culture across the hotel.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
• Take full ownership of hotel operations, commercial performance, and guest satisfaction
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Drive sales and marketing, submit an annual 12-month plan, and complete competitor analysis
• Conduct regular sales activity via phone, Zoom or Teams
• Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and hygiene standards
• Oversee staff accommodation and property maintenance planning
Team Development
• Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing, guest-focused team
• Use FLOW training and ongoing development to ensure service standards
• Manage rotas, wage costs, and performance expectations
• Lead by example – hands-on leadership is key
Rooms Division
• Maintain consistently high room standards
• Monitor occupancy, pricing, and positioning in the local market
• Handle guest feedback professionally and proactively
Food & Beverage
• Oversee the F&B operation, ensuring quality, creativity, and consistency
• Control cost of sales and supplier relationships
• Encourage innovation in menu development and promotions
• Monitor figures and performance across service periods
• Conduct monthly operational inspections and ensure compliance

What You’ll Bring
• Proven track record in hotel general management
• Strong background in both Rooms and Food & Beverage
• Commercial awareness with budgeting, forecasting, and sales strategy experience
• Natural leadership qualities and a team-first mindset
• Confident with systems such as Newbridge, Zonal, Micros, or similar
• Creative, adaptable and forward-thinking with excellent communication skills
• Hands-on management style – leads by example
• Understanding of GP management, stock control, supplier negotiation, and cost efficiencies
