Quartz Recruitment is proud to represent a prestigious North Devon resort seeking a Guest Experience Manager to join their Senior Management Team. This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing housekeeping operations and ensuring high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest experience across the resort.

Role Overview

The Guest Experience Manager will lead and develop the housekeeping team, providing strategic oversight of room management at a senior level. This role ensures all guest accommodation is maintained to the highest standard, operationally efficient, and ready to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor the housekeeping across all shifts.
  • Provide senior-level oversight of room management, including allocation strategy, operational efficiency, and guest readiness standards.
  • Develop and maintain high operational standards, processes, and quality control.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Manage departmental resources effectively, including inventory and procurement.
  • Monitor occupancy trends, room turnover efficiency, and long-term operational planning.
  • Drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven leadership experience in housekeeping or accommodation management at a senior level.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic room management and accommodation operations.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and team leadership skills.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Ability to manage operational priorities and contribute to strategic planning.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Relevant hospitality or facilities management qualifications (e.g., NVQ).
  • Experience in large-scale or multi-site accommodation operations.
