A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Sous Chef to join a charming hotel based near the historic port in the town of Bideford, in the beautiful North Devon region. Along with a salary of £28,000 per annum, you will also receive a pension scheme, monthly GP related bonus scheme and live-in accommodation with free parking if required.
This is a chance to join an independent group in their flagship hotel and they are looking for someone who is motivated and has a desire to play a pivotal role in the successful running of the kitchen.
As a Sous Chef, your responsibilities will include:
• Working closely with the Executive and Head Chef and deputising when required.
• Cooking and preparing high-quality meals.
• Supervising all kitchen stations.
• Organising kitchen stock and ingredients.
• Ordering and minimisation of waste.
• Assisting with menu preparation.
• Maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
We are looking for a Sous Chef who has the following skills and experiences:
• Excellent communication skills.
• Previous experience of working in a similar role.
• The ability to work at pace.
• Good attention to detail.
• Passionate about Food.
You will be working up to 48 hours per week.
