A 2AA Rosette 4 star luxury hotel is looking for a talented and creative Sous Chef to join their team. 

Located on the outskirts of Braunton, North Devon you will be working in one of the most enviable locations in the UK.  Their guests often tell them that it is their friendly and attentive staff that make them really stand out from the crowd.  They are looking for a Sous Chef that is motivated with a can do attitude to join this winning team.  

As the Sous Chef you will be responsible for:

- Assisting in the running of the kitchen, deputising in the head chefs absence;
- Preparing and cooking food to a high standard using the best regional produce;
- Wastage control;
- The ordering of produce;
- Kitchen and food hygiene.

The successful Sous Chef will have the following skills and experience:

- Previous experience within a kitchen/catering environment;
- Have a proven track record in delivering exceptional dishes in a time pressured environment;
- Passionate about food and hygiene.

In return, you will receive a salary of up to £25,000 pa (Negotiable) with a pay review after the probationary period.  

Accommodation can be provided and staff meals are provided on duty.  

The benefits include a competitive starting salary and holiday entitlement.  Staff discounts for hotel room rates within the group, Pension Scheme, Free Bus to work from various pickups.  The service charge and tips are paid out once a year and split between all staff.  

Sous Chef Working Hours - No split shifts 
4 days per week - 48 hours
