Management Accountant - Job role
The main objective of the position is to work as part of the finance team and assist in the production and analysis of relevant, timely and accurate information to support the management for all Retail businesses.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a team of likeminded individuals with direct responsibility for the production of the monthly management accounts for Regional Retail Businesses. They will also assist in the preparation and distribution of reports to Senior Retail Managers on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis, analysing against key financials indicators and key milestones.
Management Accountant - The person
To have a proven track record in management accounts, ideally in a retail environment
To be part or fully CIMA / ACCA qualified. My client would happily consider study support for the right individual, equally they are open to those qualified by experience possessing 3-5 years industry experience
To possess supervisory / people management skills, this would be an advantage but not essential
To be ambitious with a strong technical skill set and good interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
A team player who can work autonomously, using your initiative to set best practice processes
Salary and Hours
Negotiable depending on skills and experience
37.5 hours per week office opening hours 8.30-5.30 with 1 hour for lunch, working 7.5 hours per day
