Pay: £24,157 to £26,297 pro-rata per annum

We are working on behalf of our client to help find them a temporary Business Manager to help them until the end July.

 

The Job Role: Business Manager

You will take responsibility for managing all aspects of the business, ensuring the completion of relevant tasks and compliance with policies and arrangements

Business Planning

?             To lead on the completion with the input from Managers.

?             To ensure a fully compliant business plan is produced.

?             To ensure timely completion

?             To attend Business Planning Meetings

?             To attend further Meetings to report & implement actions

 

Finance

?             To attend finance & funding meetings to report & implement actions

?             To monitor funding reconciliation, identify & investigate anomalies/discrepancies

?             To monitor department budgets/spend

?             To monitor part-time pay budgets

?             To monitor & actively resolve incomplete payments

?             To manage the ordering & invoicing for the department

 

Registry, Funding & Information Services

?             To oversee & ensure the resolution of funding team reports

?             To lead on compliance

?             To ensure accurate amendments (transfers/withdrawals etc)

?             To ensure compliance with Work Experience monitoring & reporting.

?             To ensure the compliance with the completion of Forms

?             To ensure compliance with data.

 

Human Resources

?             To liaise with HR/Payroll to maintain an accurate list of departments staffing (inc Part Time Hourly Paid)

?             To directly line manage relevant staff where required (inc inductions, training, holiday, performance management, probation, appraisal etc)

?             To coordinate & support department requests

 

Cross Department Activity (where applicable):

?             To support & lead on relevant compliance with activities

?             To record relevant activity/tasks via the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system

?             To support the development & promote the use of CRM across the department

?             To engage with & support the organisation and running of relevant Award Ceremonies.

?             Use of a range of different IT packages.

?             Preparation of & monitoring of budgets

The Hours for the Business Manager

37 hours per week - Monday to Friday

 

The Pay for the Business Manager

£24,157 to £26,297 per annum (pro rata)
